Obituary of Lillian Maud Gibson

Lillian Maud Gibson, a lifelong resident of Darien, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Stamford Hospital. Born on November 4, 1918 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late David Alexander and Florence (Blakely) Gibson. She was 89.
Lillian worked for Phillips Chemical Company for 40 years, most recently as an Executive Secretary to the President.
She is survived by one sister, Florence Eaton of Darien and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Vida Schlobaum and Anne Haughs.
Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, March 29, 2008 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park in Stamford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897.
