Obituary of Virginia Pote

Virginia Pote, a lifelong resident of Norwalk, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2008 at Westport Health Care Center in Westport, CT. Born on May 12, 1923 in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Damato) Moscariello. She was 84. Virginia is survived by two sons, Frederick Pote and Vincent Pote both of Norwalk and a daughter, Paula Pote Ahern of Mahopac, NY; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, John Pote. She is also survived by a sister, Frances Menzl. She was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand J. Pote and two sisters, Ann Moscariello Ginolfi and Lucy Moscariello Valiante. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Philip's Church, 25 France, Norwalk on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Willowbrook Cemetery in Westport In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Virginia M.
