Obituary of Jill M. Trigaux

Jill M. Trigaux of Darien died Monday October 11, 2010. Much loved as a wife, mother and friend, Jill was an active artist and gardener. She touched many lives with her creativity, thoughtfulness and outreach. Born March 28, 1951 in New York City, her father was artist George Meyerriecks and her mother was nurse Marceline Stygles Meyerriecks. In New York she attended the Red Brick and Spence Schools. After earning a bachelor's degree from Western Connecticut State University, she taught Kindergarten. Her husband, David, her children, Brett and Carolyn Peterson and Christopher and Matthew Trigaux, stepsons Alexander and Jonathan Trigaux, her brother Thad Meyerriecks and his family, Leslie Mason and Lucy Mason survive her.
