Obituary of Nancy Large Goldcamp

Mrs. Nancy Large Goldcamp, of Lambert Commons in Wilton, CT, died at home on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. She was born to James and Mildred Large on March 10, 1926 in Wallingford, CT. Mrs. Goldcamp attended the School of Nursing at St. Francis Hospital in Meriden, CT and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Catholic University in Washington, DC. She was employed by St. Francis Hospital, the Visiting Nurse Society of Washington, DC and the Norwalk Public Schools as a school nurse. Mrs. Goldcamp was married in 1950 to Mr. Dan Goldcamp, who died in 1992. She is survived by a son, Mr. James Goldcamp of West Redding, CT and by two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Schoonover of Vale, NC and Mrs. Jean Drozdowski of Monroe Township, NJ. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Thomas More R. C. Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Mid-Fairfield County, P. O.
