Mona Cecelia Schultz, a resident of Darien, CT, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Rosenthal Hospice in Stamford. Born on November 24, 1928 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Sarah DeYoung. She was 81. Mona worked as an administrative assistant for Bell Labs in New Jersey. She was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church. She is survived by her six children, John Schultz of Greencastle, PA; Gerri Anne Mason of Crossville, TN; Robert Schultz of Stratford, CT; Amy Shelton of Darien, CT; Terry Szczecina of Monmouth Junction, NJ; Edward Schultz of Oxford, MS and 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Walter J. Schultz and two brothers William DeYoung and James DeYoung. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Father Robert Post. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rosenthal Hospice Residence, Shelburne Road & West Broad Street, Stamford, CT 06902.
