Frances Alberta McCarthy, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Wilton, CT. She was born in Yonkers, NY to Francis and Elizabeth Wilmot on May 14, 1921. She was 88 years old.
Frances devoted her entire life to her family and extended family members. She is survived by three children: Gail Fennell of Fairfield, CT; Dennis McCarthy of Long Boat Key, FL; and Diane Rutledge of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Kimberly, Jennifer, Taryn, Kerry, Riley, Courtney and Megan and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Vincent Timothy McCarthy.
Frances suffered for many years from Alzheimer's disease. A private family service is planned.
