My ggrandmother, Frances Goff, descended from Joshua McGeough of County Armagh, Ireland. Her brother was Kinney H. Goff, His son was Homer P. Goff. His son was Homer P. Goff, Jr., the father of Isabel Goff Bunge. I would very much like to hear from any descendant of Isabel Goff Bunge, if anyone has any interest in the Goff family history. I will happily share what I have compiled over the last thirty plus years. My sympathy fnr your loss. She must have been a dynamo, and a person to get to know. I wish I had.

I did not know your Mom long. I met her this winter at St. Lukes where she volunteered in the kitchen , so apprpriate that you have chosen a photo of her in the kitchen. I enjoyed working with her side by side and sharing stories of life and family with her. As others, I was saddened to hear of her passing and will miss her at St. Lukes. I am sure she will be cooking up a storm in heaven and sharing her stories of you all. With sincere sympathy, Linda Cogan

Dear George, Ham, and David, I hardly know where to start. I have so many wonderful memories of your Mother. We shared so much those years in Geneva. Her infectious joy of living, her interest in so many things, her bubbly enthusiasm will always be in my remembrances of Isabel. She sent me a letter in February this year telling me of you and your families. She was so proud and happy with all of you. Yes, it is a great loss, but you all were so lucky to have such a wonderful Mother! With Love, Beverly Cable

My dear Isabel: You touched my life immensely, from cooking with you at St. Lukes and learning recipes of yours and most of all laughing with you. You taught me so much about being a true christian and I am so blessed to have known you. I will always remember you and am so thankful I met you and shared our time together, especially sitting together in church on Maundy thursday. My children, husband and I will miss you dearly and thank you for touching our lives. May you always be in my heart. Love Lorna Young

It isn't possible that Isabel's lively, happy presence is stilled. Isabel lived and enjoyed life right up to the very last and this is a powerful thing. She is an example to us all that not a moment is to be wasted of this precious gift of life. She has blessed us all with her presence. Plus, I know that she is still sparkling somewhere! Ciao, bellissima!

Isabel was my French Vinaigrette mentor and I was her student during the St. Luke's Community Suppers. She taught me the secret to a great vinaigrette is not the balsamic but the white wine vinegar. At 4pm every Thursday, Isabel would whip up the delicious magic dressing and smile wearing her red lipstick, cherubic smile and giggling. The salads went from blah to wonderful. Every child devoured the delicious green leaves. And, she always managed to keep count of every plate and loved to serve. We had the best time together. She brought such light, joy and grace to our St. Luke's Community Suppers. Isabel's vibrant spirit and twinkle in the eye will always be with us. My prayers go out to the Bunge family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bunge Family at this most difficult time. Isabel and I cooked together on Wednesdays for the Thursday Community Dinners at Saint Luke's. It was a pleasure to get to know Isabel and I will miss her terribly. Isabel was a shining light at these dinners- she always made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Her smile was infectious and her giggle was delightful. She made us all laugh and smile! I will never forget her warmth, generosity, great sense of humor and the kindness she bestowed on our community (and who could forget her delicous vinaigrette!) The Rewcastle Family sends our love and our prayers to the Bunge Family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Isabel's sudden passing. I also had the pleasure of cooking and serving with Isabel at St. Luke's for our Thursday night free community dinners. I always looked forward to seeing her. She was such a smiling, happy person, easy to laugh and joke, always there with a kind and encouraging word. I will really miss her. My prayers are with the family as they grieve our dear Isabel.

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22, New Living Translation. May it be a source of inner strength to know that there's a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He'll stay close by your side. You are always in my thoughts and I'm holding you in prayer.
