It has taken me many days to find the words to express my feelings regarding the loss of such a great man. Nothing I can say will truly express the man Mr. McGraw was. However, I will try. As a business man, and professional he far surpassed any of his peers. His dedication and love of his work, was truly a passion.
I know that Mr. McGraw's family was not only his first priority, but an enormous source of pride. My heart and prayers are with you.
As a friend, his kindness and generosity were boundless. My late husband Bruce W. Mowat, was Mr. McGraw's driver and friend. The relationship they seeded and nurtured over the years grew into a beautiful and strong bond. Having lost Bruce, just one week prior to Mr. McGraw's death, tells me that that bond they had needed to be continue. The twenty years they spent together was obviously not enough.
In trying to over come the loss of both Bruce and then Mr. McGraw, the only solace I have, is knowing that they are together once again. In reading the beautiful letters Mr. McGraw had written to Bruce and I during their years together has help ease the pain. Mr. McGraw, you will not only be forever missed, but never forgotten. Although I never had the privlege of meeting Mr. McGraw, I can only imagine what an outstanding man he must have been based on the daughter, Sue, that he raised.
My heart, my prayers and my condolences are extended to the entire family during these difficult days. May warm and fond memories always serve as a source of comfort to you all during the days ahead.

Suzanne - I have thought of you often over all these years & tried to find you so today when I read about your father I was deeply saddened. I have fond memories of his visits to our Peoria apartment, including discreetly sitting on his WSJ. I also remember a wonderful week at Lake Fairlee, waterskiing behind the Fairlee Fast & cocktail hour cruises around the lake with your mother driving. I would love to hear from you & catch up after all these years. Please know that you & the McGraw Family are in my prayers. Thinking of you, Marcia
