Obituary of John S. Price

John S. Price a 38 year resident of Rowayton and a former long time Darien resident, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in 1929 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Marvin Price and Edith Bear Price. He was 80. John retired after working for 32 years as a supervisor at American Cyanamid. He also worked for 30 years as a Special Policeman for Darien and the Marine Division and worked for several years at Ring's End Lumber. He had a life long love of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Alfreda P. Price of Rowayton; a son, John J. Price of Darien and a daughter, Jane J. Ebert of Stratford, CT. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
