Margaret M. Ienner a life long Darien resident passed away on Sunday August 16, 2009 at home. She was 93. Born August 5, 1916 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Frank Muzzio and Persis Cheever Muzzio. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford in 1934 and from Columbia University's Dental Hygiene School in 1939. Margaret and her husband owned and ran the Glenbrook News Store. She later became the Head Bookkeeper for Palmer's Market until she retired at 80. Margaret is predeceased by her husband Daniel Paul Ienner and her daughter Margaret Marie Ozols. Her survivors include her son in law Peter E. Ozols of Darien, 2 grandchildren Peter D. Ozols of Norwalk and Margaret M. Conrad of Darien. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren Brittany, Taylor Marie, Katherine and Christopher Conrad of Darien and Heather and Amy Ozols of Norwalk. Friends may call Edward Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Road Darien on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St John R.C. Church of Noroton on Wednesday August 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St John R.C. Cemetery in Darien.
