I knew Mike as a classmate at Fordham College. A great , intelligent, responsible person. Always intrested in what you were doing and always very loyal to Fordham and the values that we all learned at Fordham. I will miss Mike and I am sure that his family will miss him far more than I can conjure up in words. I think it wonderful that Mike's entrance into paradise was celebrated in the Fordham Church where we used to do some "serious harmonizing" to "tantum ergo" et seq!

Dear Barbara, So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mary & I were so used to seeing you both at the reunions, and our group was so small for the 55th. He gave so much of himself for Fordham and will be sorely missed. Our prayers go out for both of you. Joe & Mary Ippolito

Mike was trusted and respected by all who knew him. He was one of the most fair-minded and considerate people I've known. For the 55 years since our Fordham graduation, I've regarded him as our class president. In many ways, it was the force of his personality that held us together. He will be sorely missed.

First off - I love the picture you chose - perfect image of Dad #2 :-) As I heard of your father's failing health, I started thinking about all the memories I had of him... and I couldn't help but smile. Party boat fishing (can you say birds nest?); Blue fishing; LBI; Damn, damn, damn (I was used to much more colorful language at my house); jeepers cats; big band music; Dad on the playroom floor watching basketball; making tasty hors d'oeuvres for his meetings (bacon wrapped water chestnuts); gardening in plaid bermuda shorts and black socks; amazing roses... I hope he's left you with his secrets for a beautiful garden... You are all in my prayers as you mourn an amazing man! God Bless! Love Kyle

To all the Stantons, Barbara and I are sorry not to be able to be with you at this time. Although I have had only occasional contacts with Mike since our Fordham commencement including some memorable reunions, I found him to remain the outstanding guy that I knew in school. It should come as no surprise to you to see how closely his classmates still hold him in their hearts.

Dear Mrs. Stanton, Michael, Timmy, Brian, Matt, Meagan, and families, Our heartfelt condolences on Mr. Stanton's passing. He was such a kind man with a warm smile and a loving heart. Tom and I have years of memories of him - my most favorite are when we saw him with his grandchildren at birthdays, holidays, etc.. Mr. Stanton always had that 'never-ending' supply of Mentos for Matthew, Shane and Maggie in his front pocket - eventually even our Liam got in on the act and lined up for the Mentos too. We know this is a very difficult time for all of you - please take comfort in all the happy times and know that there is much love and prayers for all of you. Love, Antoinette, Tom and Liam XO
