Obituary of Mary Cerullo

Mary Cerullo, a life-long resident of Darien, CT, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Edgehill in Stamford. Born in 1920 in Darien, she was the daughter of the late Giovanna Spero and Giovanni Marinella. She was 89. Mary was a long time parishioner of St. John R.C. Church in Darien. Her greatest focus in life was her family and home. She is survived by her thee children, Mary Morgan of Newtown, CT; Jeanne Kelly of New Milford, CT; Joseph A. Cerullo, Jr. of Darien; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Josephine Rogers of Darien and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Cerullo in 2002; two sisters and three brothers. Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk. Memorial donations may be made to St. John R.C.
