Obituary of Patricia Carson Gage

Patricia Carson Gage, a long time resident of the Rowayton, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence in Stamford. Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Oswald B. and Louisa Elizabeth Crandall Carson. Mrs. Gage was one of the founding members of the United Church of Rowayton and a co-historian of the church for many years. She was also a founding member of the Rowayton Gardeners. She is survived by her three children, Jeffrey W. Gage and his wife Encie of Rowayton, CT; David F. Gage and his wife Deborah of Alexandria, VA; Barbara G. Mabry and her husband, Paul of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Bryan Gage, Sarah Geary and Robert Mabry as well as two great grandchildren, Grace and Harry Geary. She is also survived by a brother Kent L. Carson of East Orleans, MA; and a niece and nephew. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Lewis E. Gage. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Committee of the United Church of Rowayton, P. O.
