Obituary of Richard R. Ferravante

Richard Ferravante, a former longtime resident of Stamford passed away on February 27, 2009 at Norwalk Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1929 to the late Luigi Ferravante and Antonia (Esposito) Ferravante in White Plains, NY. He was 79. Richard served in the U.S. Army in Korea and was later a long time employee of American Cyanamid, working as a Mason. He was also a member of Mason's Union # 5 and had a great love of gardening. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Bell Ferravante, one son James Ferravante and wife (Barbara) of Newton, CT, one daughter Pamela Raffaele and husband (Salvatore) of Shelton, CT, two sisters Fifi Bishop and Helen Ferravante, and two grandsons Salvatore and Richard Raffaele of Shelton, CT. Visitation will be held at the Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Rd., Darien, CT on Tuesday March 3, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 PM.
