Obituary of Priscilla J. Anderson

Priscilla (Jones) Anderson, age 67, of Port Richey, FL formerly of Stamford and Huntington, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 20, 2008 following a brief illness. Born in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Alida Jones. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Sheryl and Kenneth Berlingo of Mansfield, MA; Darien Police Lieutenant Donald and Georgia Anderson of Trumbull, CT; Kathryn and Darren Romano of Monroe, CT; and Laura and Jay Kondub of also of Monroe, CT. She is also survived by her loving life partner of 10 years, Roy Brathwaite. She leaves 10 grandchildren: Sarah and Jessie Berlingo, Scott and Justin Romano, Megan and Ashley Anderson, and John, Emma, Nichols and Luke Kondub. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, former Darien Police Chief Bruce Anderson. Also surviving are her sisters, Juanita Adams, Lucy Chapman, Geraldine Sloat and Nancy Sell. She was predeceased by one brother, Richard Jones and an infant sister, Betty Ann Jones. Visiting hours will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at the Evangelical Community Church, 1155 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Stamford.
