Lillian Frances LeBlanc, a resident of Darien, CT, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008 in Darien. Born in 1929 in Shreveport, LA, she was the daughter of the late Tolliver Clyde and Della Lou Lanford. She was 82. Lillian attended Louisiana State University. She was actively involved with the Lockwood Matthews Mansion Association, Wee Burn Country Club, St. Mark's Church in New Canaan and the Darien Sports Shop working as a soup kitchen volunteer. She was involved with various bridge groups and was an avid golfer. She is survived by her children, Sharon Schall of Chevy Chase, MD; Julie LeBlanc of Southport, CT; Paul LeBlanc of Darien and Mary Martha LeBlanc of New Providence, NJ; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Moreland Paul LeBlanc, Jr. A Graveside Service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Ann Richardson from St. Mark's Church. Arrangements for a Memorial Service are incomplete at this time. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien, CT is handling the arrangements.
