Obituary of Angela Felicita Massarella

Angela Felicita Massarella, a resident of Stamford since 1962, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Stamford Hospital. Born in 1913 in Picinisco, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria Lanni. She was 95.
Angela was a parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Stamford. She was a long time local seamstress and a wonderful homemaker and cook.
She is survived by her three children, Armando Massarella and his wife Debbie of Stamford; Albert Massarella and his wife Anna of Fairfield, CT; Maria Fusarelli and her husband Tony of Orange, CT; and six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Domenicoantonio Massarella.
Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
