Obituary of Laura Creed

Laura Creed, a long time resident of Darien , CT, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008 in Stamford. Born in 1926 in Portumna County Galway, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Moylan) Hannon. She was 81. Laura was a long time member of St. Thomas More Church in Darien. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Michael, a daughter Michelle Bodick and her husband Brent of Darien, CT; one granddaughter Brooke Lauren Bodick also of Darien; one brother Brian Hannon of Australia; three sisters Elsie Flanagan of Ireland, Rosaline Donahue of Ireland and Maryfrances Snyder of Pittsburgh, PA. She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Laura was also the loving Aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road in Darien, CT 06820 on Monday, June 16, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 10 AM at St. Thomas More RC Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien, CT 06820.
