Obituary of Jo-Ann Angelilli

Jo-Ann Angelilli, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at her home in Stamford, CT. She was born on August 11, 1946 in the Bronx, NY to the late Jack and Martha Bohmer. She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and obtained her Masters Degree in Education from St. John's University. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in Mt. Vernon, NY, and then later worked at a family business started by her mother and father in New Rochelle, NY called Industrial Overall Services Corp. On Sept 28, 1974, she married her beloved husband Frank Angelilli. She later welcomed her two beautiful daughters Jacqueline and Joanna. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved and adored by many. Her sense of beauty and elegance was immediately apparent to all who met and love her. She doted on her 3 grandchildren Lily, Will and Teddy and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Her beautiful spirit, passion and love will live on and be cherished by her husband Frank, her daughters Jackie Lenich and Joanna Angelilli, her 3 grandchildren Lily, Will and Teddy, her identical twin sister Susanne O'Brien and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her beloved dog Benny. She may physically be gone, but she will live on in our hearts every minute of every day forever. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services and Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien will be private.
