Obituary of June Faulkner

Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all, June's life was full of selfless acts, humor, hard work and, most of all, love. She loved her family and friends with all her heart; a person only had to meet Gammy once to love her and understand how truly special she was. Gammy cherished afternoons on the porch, holiday and birthday celebrations, walks around Rowayton, playing cards, trips to her homeland, England, and her independence. But, what meant the most to her was spending time with her "babies" her children, grandchildren and, for the last five years, the grand prize, her three great-grandchildren. Gammy has joined her beloved husband, Ernest, her dad, mom, Kitty, Ama and all her cherished cats and dogs. Her memory will be carried on by all her "babies" her children, Sandra Wilson, Susan Mansfield and her husband Frank White, and Mark Wilson; her grandbabies, Rebecca White, Sarah Kamrath and her husband Ray Kamrath; her three great-grandbabies Lukas and Nadia Kamrath, and Isabella White, and countless dear friends. We will celebrate one of the most beautiful lives to have ever graced this earth on Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, 1864 Post Road, Darien, CT.
