Obituary of Sr. M. Christina Graziosi

Sr. M. Christina Graziosi, a Religious Sister of the Order of the Most Holy Savior of Saint Birgitta, Darien, CT, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2008 at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. Born on September 1, 1919 in Sturno, Province of Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo Michele and Rosa Capobianco Graziosi. She was 88 and spent 73 years in religious life. She is survived by two brothers, Antonio Graziosi and Salvatore Graziosi of Sturno, Province of Avellino, Italy. The Sisters of St. Birgitta will receive friends at the Convent of St. Birgitta, 4 Runkenhage Road, Darien on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Convent of St. Birgitta on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Msgr. Stephen DiGiovanni officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made payable to the Convent of St. Birgitta, 4 Runkenhage Road, Darien, CT 06820 which will be used to their application to the orphans and other needy children in the Philippines and Indonesia.
