Dana was a special friend to me. Even though we were generations apart we always seemed to connect. We met working on the Smith College Book Sale. We hit it off right away. I had so many nice lunches in her charming condo in Darien. She would tell me stories from when she was growing up, when she was at Smith and all about her life. I enjoyed hearing about when she moved to New York City after Smith because it reminded me of my time there. I always left her condo in a good mood. She had a way of making me happy and helping me look on the positive side of life. She was a very positive person.
