I happened to look at Terry Hedrick’s obituary again today and say a post from Nancy’s daughter, Meghan. I was saddened to see Nancy’s passing. I was a student of Terry’s in Ohio and then became a life long friend and colleague, working and publishing with her. When I left Ohio to go to Loyola, Terry put me in touch with your mom to help me navigate Chicago. I stayed with her, she took me to dinner, told me where to get my hair cut, and was overall just wonderful. She was such an incredible role model and left such an impression on me. I kept up to date on her some through Terry over the years. Both Terry and your mom blazed trails for those who came after them. I feel privileged that I had the pleasure of meeting your mom and being the recipient of her warmth, generosity, and inspiring spirit. Debra Rog
