Obituary of Lorna L. Shull

Lorna L. Shull, a resident of Darien for 58 years, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Darien. Born on November 22, 1931 in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Billings and Gertrude Crocker Luitwieler. She was 79. Lorna was a graduate of Dana Hall and Smith College with a B.A. degree. She worked part-time at the Darien Library. She loved gardening and summers on Cape Cod. She is survived by her three children, Hank Shull of Wilmington, NC; John Shull and his wife, Lynn, of East Wakefield, NH and Julie Scholtz and her husband, Brad, of Darien and three grandchildren, Jeff, Scott and Kelly Scholtz. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Clark of Chatham, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Austin Shull. A private family interment will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
