Obituary of Mark A. Shillinglaw

Mark A. Shillinglaw, a resident of Darien, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2011 in Darien. He was the son of Dorothy Hanrahan and Selwyn Shillinglaw of Darien. He was 48.
Mark graduated from Darien High School in 1980 and from Norwalk Community College in 1982. He was employed for many years by Food Emporium in Greenwich, CT until poor health made it impossible to continue. He was a parishioner of St. John R. C. Church in Darien.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Bruce Shillinglaw and Kenneth Shillinglaw both of Norwalk, two nieces, four nephews and one grand niece.
The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820.
