Obituary of Marion Baddeley Olsen

Marion Baddeley Olsen passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Norwalk attending St. Mary's School, Norwalk High School and Mary Mount Academy in Tarrytown, NY. Marion was employed at Notre Dame Convalescent Home, Kings Daughters and Sons and for 22 years as a C.N.A. at Norwalk Hospital. She was an avid reader, enjoyed music, nature and crocheting especially baby blankets. Marion was the daughter of the late Joseph and Delia Garvey Baddeley and was predeceased by her husband Theodore O. Olsen and her brother Joseph M. Baddeley. She is survived by her eight children: Maureen Rosenberger McGraw, Kevin Michael Olsen (Darlene), Brian Christopher Olsen (Sharon), Sheila T. Willson (Robert), Barbara E. Pote (Richard), Theodore J. Olsen (Daryl), Kristin Ann Olsen and Joseph Martin Olsen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Hannah Rosenberger, Sarah Pitts, Daniel Rosenberger; Korrin and Kyle Olsen; Katherine Araujo, Michael Pote; Shannon and Jason Olsen; six great grandchildren: Ashley and Christopher Hopp; Mason Pitts; and Olivia, Ava and Daisy Araujo. She is also survived by her sister Eileen Cleary of Norwalk. Marion's family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
