Obituary of Edward Kuban

Edward Kuban, a resident of Bethel, CT for the last year and a half and a former long time resident of Darien, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Danbury Hospital, Danbury, CT. Born in 1927 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna (Sone) Kuban. He was 80.
Edward was the former owner of Strasser's Service Station in Noroton. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Ruth Acton Kuban of Bethel; one son, Keith E. Kuban also of Bethel; one daughter, Donna Neal of North Little Rock, AR; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great step-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Bobbie Englund of Venice, FL and a cousin, Irene Yuhas.
Friends may call at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Monday, February 4, 2008 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. www.lawrencefuneralhome.com
