Obituary of Mark Peter Zengo

Mark Peter Zengo passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 2, 2015. He was born October 22, 1964 in Boston, MA to George and Nancy Zengo. After living in Europe for many years with his family, he moved to Darien in 1973. Mark graduated from Darien High School (1982) and Bates College (1986). He had a long career in financial services functioning as an Institutional Equity Trader. He recently founded Keenan Capital Management. Mark will be remembered for his passion and his love of family, especially his three young children to whom he was devoted. Mark would light up a room and make everyone laugh with his genius wit and loving heart. Mark was an avid fisherman, a compassionate father, son and brother and a true friend to all. He is survived by his parents, Nancy and George, sons Peter and Brian, daughter Molly, the mother of his children Meredith McGowan, his brother George ( Mary Dolan Zengo) and sisters Dawn (Chuck Deluca), Denice and Suzy (Chris Nolan), many nieces and nephews and his dogs Keenan and Marly. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT.
