Obituary of Leonard F. Kaminsky

Leonard F. Kaminsky, a long-time resident of Darien, CT, passed away on Saturday, January 5th, 2008. He was born in Stamford, CT and was the son of the late Benjamin Kaminsky and Antonia Tulinski. Mr. Kaminsky was retired from Pitney Bowes. He was a veteran of World War II serving on the U.S.S. Boston. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Kaminsky of Darien; a daughter, Susan Kaminsky of Darien; a son, Dr. Brian Kaminsky of Richmond, VA; his daughter-in-law, Maryann Kaminsky of Richmond, VA; two granddaughters, Elsa and Jenna Kaminsky both of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Edward Kaminsky of Texas and Eugene Kaminsky of Bethel, CT; and two sisters, Dorothy Douglas of Bethel, CT and Regina Michalsky of Stamford, CT. He was predeceased by his parents and five brothers, Henry, John, Frank, William and Zane Kaminsky. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien TODAY Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 9th, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
