the clinton conleys and the jeff conollys familys BOTH moved to fantastic darien, conn in 1966 i'm not entirely sure if my nancy conolly knew nancy conley but both our nancy conley/conolly moms loved wallpaper and the decorative arts. i'm not sure if it is okay to say this but i will NEVER forget clinton's nancy mom calling out 'clint' name in her very beautiful southern voice.... i can hear her voice now and when ever i was visiting the kink's klub at holloow tree ridge road she was very kind to me as one of clint's friends and i think she probably enjoyed our playing records a lot too !

Im so sorry for all of our loss. I LOVED Nancy so much. I spent so much time with her as her neighbor for 10 years. My children grew up at her house and in her pool everyday. Our dogs were best friends. Nancy and I spent many days drinking peach iced tea on her terrace and laughing at the children as they played in the pool. She looked past it when my son, Liam, would nibble all of her cherry tomatoes off the vine on warm summer days. She also generously hosted my daughter's 9th birthday party with 20 little brats all running around the pool and dripping their way to the bathroom inside. She was THE BEST -- so hip and cool. Nancy brought me with her to bible study and to church to heal me during my divorce... We also spent countless nights watching "MadMen", as she loved John Hamm and often referred to him as "the most handsome man alive". I hadn't been by to see Nancy in the past year and now I regret it deeply. She was never, ever far from my thoughts though, and I will always remember her sweetness, her voice and especially her beautiful way with people. God bless Nancy, she is definitely with the angels now. Love, Kate

It's almost impossible to think of life without Nancy in it. When I first met her 30 years ago, I was dazzled by her and thought she was the most glamorous woman I had ever met. She was so warm and caring, and made me feel comfortable right away. For all these years, she has been the most accepting and forgiving person I have ever met. I only wish I was more like her. She was always helping others, and was a fierce advocate for her children. She helped me in so many ways that are so personal. I am grateful that in the last months of her life, I was able to talk to her on the phone every single day. She accepted her impending death with grace and good humor. She never felt sorry for herself. As a family, we have had so many laughs and good times, and I will miss her so much.

I babysat for the Conley family for many years and always admired Mrs. Conley greatly. She had such style and was always so good to me. Years later when I visited Darien, I would be lucky to run into her usually at Wee Burn, and she was always so gracious. My thoughts and prayers to all the Conley family. You were so lucky to have a Mom, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother like her. She lead an extraordinary life. Joan deGarmo Haymarket, Virginia

I will always love and remember my grandma as the sweetest, strongest, most caring and giving woman that I will ever know. I know she watches over me and her great granddaughter from heaven everyday. She will always be my angel. I will never forget all the Summers, Thanksgivings, Christmases, birthdays and little stop throughs on my drives to and from school in North Carolina. Grandma always brought so much joy and love and I will only remember nothing but great things. I will always love you dearly Grandma
