Obituary of Lucille M. Carpo

Lucille M. Carpo, a life-long resident of Darien, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Stamford Hospital. Born February 12, 1923 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Monti) Sci. She was 91. Lucille was a graduate of Darien High School and was a long time employee at Woolworth's. She is survived by a son, William J. Plaskowsky of Brooklyn, NY; a daughter, Angela Corbin of Darien and two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Thomas J. Sci of Norwalk and a sister, Rose Mattera of Darien. She was predeceased by her husband, Teddy Carpo and a brother, Rosario R. Sci. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
