Obituary of Alfreda Jagodzinski Price

Alfreda Jagodzinski Price, a 39 year resident of Rowayton, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Southport Manor in Fairfield, CT. Born on June 13, 1935 in McAdoo, PA, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Ciesak and George Jagodzinski. She was 75. Alfreda was a crossing guard and matron for 20 years with the Darien Police Department. She also had a love of boating and Long Island Sound. She is survived by her a son, John J. Price, Sr. of Darien; a daughter, Jane J. Ebert of Stratford and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Anne Dombroski of Stamford; Theresa Wargo also of Stamford; Rose Mocarski of Phoenixville, PA; two brothers, Joseph Jagodzinski of Virginia Beach, VA and George Jagodzinski of Stamford. She was predeceased by her husband in March of 2010, John S. Price; two brothers, Jack Wargo and Mike Yagodzinski; and one grandson, John Ebert. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. A Prayer Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
