Obituary of Clarence N. Andrus

Clarence N. Andrus, a resident of Darien for over 70 years, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Norwalk Hospital. Born on January 8, 1925 in Suffield, MA, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Andrus. He was 89. He owned Andrus Floor Sanding. He is survived by his wife, Rose Frasca Andrus, three daughters, Rose Lewis of Alaska; Norma Jordan of Ansonia, CT; and Joanne Sullivan of Darien. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and family man. A funeral service will be held at Evangelical Congregational Church of Stamford, 1155 Newfield Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM. A private interment will be held at St. John Cemetery in Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Evangelical Congregational Church, 1155 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905.
