Obituary of Sara Ann Walsh

Sara Ann Walsh, a resident of Norwalk and a former 37 year resident of Darien, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport. Born on March 28, 1932 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John Ray and Sara Ann Donnegan Maust. She was 78. Sara was a graduate of Albertus Magnus College. She was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church, Darien, a member of the Country Club of Darien, the Yale Club, Women�s Westchester Fairfield Golf Association and Cosmos in Washington, DC. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Thomas J. Walsh of Norwalk; four children, Thomas R. Walsh of High Point, NC; Sara Ann Walsh of Norwalk, CT; Mary Kelly Parkhurst of Darien; Kathleen Meeghan Walsh of Wilton and five grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Joan McCartney of Pelham Manor, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
