Obituary of Patricia Winters Donnelly

Patricia Winters Donnelly, a 52 year resident of Norwalk, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Notre Dame Convalescent Home in Norwalk. Born on December 22, 1930 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Rose (Kiggins) Winters. Patricia graduated from Stamford High School in 1949. She worked for St. John Roman Catholic Church in Darien as office manager for 30 years. She loved oil painting and gave away all her painting to her friends, volunteered at Norwalk Hospital, enjoyed cruising and vacationing on Cape Cod. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert E. Donnelly, Jr.; four children, Robert W. Donnelly of Agawam, MA; Kevin J. Donnelly of Norwalk; Joan M. Donnelly also of Norwalk and Marybeth Cadotte and her husband Richard of Canonsburg, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ensign Noelle Cadotte, U.S. Navy; Richard G. Cadotte, Jr.; Leia Cadotte; Kate Donnelly and Emily Donnelly. Also surviving are three sisters, Kathryn Harrington of California; Marilyn Papsun of Darien and Lizabeth Bongo of Danbury, CT. She was predeceased by a brother, Hugh Winters and a sister, Joan Boshka. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
