Five years ago when I got my slip at the boat club I was introduced to Georg. I asked him if he had been a trades man in Darien. He said yes. Then I asked him if he attended Royal School. He was three years ahead of me, I remember him. He was a good baseball player. There were 6 or 7 people in his class that were neighbors of me on Birch Road 1948, 49 50. George was a very considerate nice to talk to person

I have so many dear memories of my brother Georgie growing up together and in our adult life. We were very close and loved each other very much. He and his wife Lisa would come to our second home in Rancho Mirage every Thanksgiving to be with my three daughters, Kathryn, Susan & Alison and my eight grandchildren. He was a second Father to them and they wouldnt miss seeing their Uncle George. In fact Georgie walked Kathryn down the aisle when she was married. Georgie loved our home in the desert and would have his coffee every morning outside in the sun overlooking the mountains, golf course and pond. The thought of his not being with us next Thanksgiving makes us all very sad. It gives us comfort to know that Georgie will forever be in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus in Heaven and that the Lord bears our burdens during this time of mourning. We will miss you Georgie and love you forever.

Brad and I were so saddened to hear of George's passing. He touched everyone he met, and we are grateful to have been his neighbor on Fairmead for 16 years. During that time he provided a lot of laughter and wisdom to our lives. We are keeping his whole family in our thoughts, especially his Fairmead family, Lisa and Victoria.

Thank you George for the many beautiful summer days fishing, boating, and barbecues in the banana chairs. Thank you George and my Aunt Lisa for cherished, family holidays. Such memories, I would like to recreate one day across the sound on the North Fork. Love, Megan
