Obituary of Elizabeth M. Calve

Elizabeth M. Calve, a resident of Darien, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 in the Stamford Hospital. Born in 1921 in Martone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late George and Caterina (Infusini) Cotrone. She was 85.
Elizabeth is survived by her eight children, Josephine Calvi of Darien; Rosalie Calve of New York City, Dominick Calve of Darien; Linda Calve of Darien; Catherine Calve of New York City; Camy Calve of New York City; Diane Calve of Darien; Christine Calve Miller of Baltimore, MD and four grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Josephine Gargano of Stamford.
The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John’s R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. John’s R.C. Cemetery in Darien.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stamford Hospital, West Broad Street and Shelburne Road, Stamford, CT 06902.
