Obituary of Mary C. Barry

Mary C. Barry, a life long resident of the Stamford/Darien area, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at St. Camillus Health Care Center in Stamford. Born in 1912 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Martin) Tirpak. She was 95.
Mary was long time parishioner of St. John R.C. Church in Darien. Mary is survived by four sisters, Helen McGuiness, Ellen Olsen and Joan Dineen all of Stamford and Dorothy Hammernick of Norwalk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Barry in 1957.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien with the Monsignor Peter Dora officiating. Interment will follow at St. John R.C. Cemetery in Darien. The Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, Darien handled the arrangements.
