Obituary of Frances Jensen

Frances Fisher Jensen, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on September 11, 2007 in Shelton CT. She was 92 years old. Born November 30, 1914, she was a twin daughter of the late Frank A. and Anna Z. Fisher. She worked 44 years as an Optical Technician for the Perkin Elmer Corp. of Wilton CT and retired in 1986. A member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, she was a member of the Lutheran’s Missionary League and Trinity’s Ladies Aid Society. She was also a charter member of the Perkin Elmer Retirees Club. She was pre-deceased by her husband Loraine G. Jensen of Stamford, and her twin sister Dorothy Schulz and her husband Kurt. Surviving are two step daughters: Carol Rasmussen of Seal Beach, CA and Judy Smith of Phelan, CA, several grandchildren and several great grand children, all of CA. A niece Della Schulz, of Wilkes Barre, PA and a nephew Kurt F. Schulz of Snellville, GA are also surviving. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday September 14, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 265 Seaside Ave., Stamford, with the Rev. Jack Breznen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Woodland Place in Stamford. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 265 Seaside Ave. Stamford CT. 06902.
