Calahan, Lawrence Fox II, 47, formerly of Dedham, MA, and now Darien, CT, died July 20, 2007 of brain cancer. Dear son of David, of Sarasota, FL and Jane of Stresa, Italy; brother of Peter of Sarasota, FL. Lawrence’s strength and calming influence will be deeply missed by his wife, Lauren, his children, Cameron, Christopher, Zachary and Zoë and Lauren’s family, Joby Gray, Adam, Beth and David Kimberly and Nina, Michael and Everett Ives. Lawrence was born January 19, 1960 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. First and foremost a father, he also worked as an investment banker in New York and Boston. He graduated from Dulwich College, London, England; Yale (BA) and Columbia (MBA) Universities. Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational Church, Darien, CT on Sunday, July 29, at 1:00 PM. Lawrence would ask you to consider making a donation to Brain Tumor Research Fund, c/o Dr. Wen, Center for Neuro-Oncology, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
