So many wonderful memories: Where do I possibly begin? Remembering Walt at Family Gatherings, Holidays; we enjoyed his interesting life stories and wit. We hold his glass of Ballantine Ale high in tribute to a life well lived. Walt was so very special to us. Sadly missed, we express our heartfelt condolences to you; Bunny, Sandee, Jack, and Nolan. Love

Bunny, Sandra and Jack Mom called this morning to tell me the sad news. She had been wondering about your dad. Please accept our condolences. We had such a wonderful time growing up. I can still see your dad hitting fly balls in his Lions Club hat. Remember when he built the addition? No one we knew had the skills to wire a new addition but Walt was the man for the job. We just watched and sang tunes from "Flower Drum Song". Oh how we wanted Broadway! You must be so proud of him. He was a standout. Judy

Unfortunately I never got to meet Walter...But I would have loved to have had him on my team.. This great country we share is here because of the great sacrifice's the Men and Women of our Country bestowed upon us.. From one Military Man to another I have great pride in knowing the common bond I have with Walter....

Mom and San - I am profoundly saddened to hear of your loss. I have always felt honored to have known him and cant even imagine the void you have in your hearts. He was indeed a 'Great American'.
