Obituary of Richard Page Ross

Richard Page Ross of Darien, died unexpectedly at his home on April 7, 2007. He was 64.
Born in California, Dick was the son of Joanne and Emrys J. Ross of Arcadia, CA. He graduated from Claremont McKenna College and serviced in the U.S. Coast Guard for six years. Before recently retiring from Jefferies and Company, NYC, Dick worked on the Pacific Coast stock exchange for many years.
Above all, Dick was characterized by his love of family, his love of the beach and his humor for all occasions.
A devoted father and loving husband, Dick is survived by his wife Lynn, daughters Taylor and Lauren, father Emrys J. Ross, sister Melissa Pratt, and brother Terry Ross.
A memorial service will be held at the United Church of Rowayton, 210 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Richard Page Ross Endowed Scholarship Fund at Claremont McKenna College, c/o Development Office, 400 North Claremont Blvd., Claremont, CA 91711.
