Obituary of John Paul Muskus

John Paul Muskus, a resident of New Canaan and a former lifelong resident of Greenwich, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. Born May 11, 1929 in Greenwich, he was the son of the late John and Victoria Trumpka Muskus. He was 83 years of age. John graduated from Greenwich High School, was a devout Catholic and an avid golfer. He worked in construction. He is survived by two daughters, Bernadette Fischer and her husband Robert of Darien and Milissa Knightly and her husband Jeff also of Darien. He is also survived by four grandchildren. He is also survived by many loving friends. He was predeceased by a daughter Stephanie and a brother Frank Muskus. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's R.C. Church, 469 North Street, Greenwich on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
