Obituary of Lawrence Louis Szivos

Lawrence Louis Szivos, a resident of Darien, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Long Ridge of Stamford. Born February 11, 1947 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Dorothy Barker Szivos and Louis Szivos. He was 68.
Lawrence worked for Darien Autobody from 1980 to 1999. He enjoyed boating. In his younger years, he worked as an electrical technician for a rock band called Sha Na Na. He was a great father who was caring, kind and very supportive of his sons. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert and Thomas both of Darien. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Lou Szivos and her spouse Elaine of Millington, NJ. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy Szivos.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan. www.lawrencefuneralhome.com
