My condolescences to the Mitchell Family - especially our Choate students, Chris and Justin - I taught Justin psychology when his dad was first diagnosed - the same time my brother-in-law was battling brain cancer. It is never easy to lose a father, but know that God must need more angels and now the family has a guardian who will watch over them for the rest of their lives. Peace be with you all. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this tender time.

Dear Sue-Ellen, I hope you remember my name, I used to be Bob's secretary at First Boston. I respected him tremendously both as a boss and as a person. I only spoke to Bob via email once or twice since his initial diagnosis because I didn't want to invade his privacy. I did keep up with his progress through my friends at CSFB who still kept in touch, and thought he was doing well. I was so sorry, even after all these years of little contact, to hear of Bob's death. My thoughts will be with you and your sons this week. I know Bob was well-loved by many, and I am sure your support system has been strong these past few years. I wish this had never happened to you and your family and will never be able to make any sense of this tragedy. My sincere and deep sympathy, Marian
