Obituary of Thomas Edward Skerrett

Thomas Edward Skerrett, a 38 year resident of Darien, CT passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Greenwich Hospital. Born August 29, 1962 in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of Walter Francis & Catherine Ann Skerrett of Darien, CT. He was 50 years of age. Thomas graduated from Darien High School, Class of 1980, and worked in downtown Darien for the past 32 years as the Sales Manager for A.D. Mackay, Inc. He was an avid musical enthusiast and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Thomas is survived by his three siblings, Edward Skerrett of Darien, CT, Katherine Slinsky and her husband Richard Slinsky of Darien, CT, Susie Skerrett of Darien, CT, a niece Jessica Jean Skerrett of Milford, CT and a nephew Stephen James Skerrett of Milford, CT. There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held on December 22, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the Skerrett Family asks that when the opportunity arises that you honor Thomas' memory by doing something good for someone else.
