Obituary of Marjorie C. Deegan

Marjorie C. Deegan, a resident of Tarpon Springs, FL and a former resident of Darien, CT, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 in Tarpon Springs, FL. Born January 31, 1931 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Ryan. She was 75. Mrs. Deegan worked in Retail Management. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church & Jesuit Association. She is survived by her seven children, Kathleen Petrella of New Port Richey, FL; Karen Ercole of Fairfax Station, VA; Kim Hall of Trumbull, CT; Kristine Minnoccio of Hamden, CT; William Deegan, Jr. of Midlothian, VA, Kelly Peraino of Wilton, CT; John Deegan of Richmond, VA and 13 grandchildren, Amanda Petrella, Alyssa Petrella, Amy Petrella, Joey Petrella, Kelly Ercole, Nicole Hall, Natalie Hall, Marco Minnoccio, Jr., Ryan McGhee Deegan, Madison Peraino, Mason Peraino, Owen Deegen and Liam Deegan. She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Gurega of Easton, CT and Pat Gardone of Stamford, CT. She is predeceased by her husband, William F. Deegan. The family will receive friends at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Friday, August 11, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
