Obituary of Daisy S. Hill

Daisy S. Hill, a 64 year resident of Darien, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 in Darien. Born August 5, 1908 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry O. and Ingeborg (Ottoson) Sundberg. She was 97. Mrs. Hill worked as a secretary before she was married. She was a volunteer at the D.C.A. Thrift Shop for 40 years. She is survived by her children, Donald Rowland Hill, Jr. of Concord, MA and Nancy Jean Hill of Darien; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Olga Vroom of Green Pond, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Rowland Hill in 1978; and one sister, Edna M. Wirth and one brother, Sterner Sundberg. A private family interment will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Post 53 Ambulance Service, P. O. Box 2066, Darien, CT 06820.
