Obituary of Gerard Peter Hallock

Gerard Peter Hallock of Rowayton, CT died on August 21, 2015 following a brave struggle with cancer. He was a 1965 graduate of The Hotchkiss School and a 1969 graduate of Princeton University. His work career spanned 45 years as a commercial real estate broker. He was a partner and SVP at Rostenberg-Doern Company and retired as Executive Managing Director at Colliers International. He served on the Board of Governors of The Hotchkiss School, the Board of Directors Stamford Center for the Arts, Vice Chairman of the Board the Literacy Volunteers in Stamford, CT and President of the Connecticut Chapter of SIOR. His generosity, humor, and love will be deeply missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Judith Hallock; son, Gerard Peter Hallock Jr (Elizabeth); four daughters, Courtney McGinnis (Michael), Daisy Hallock, Page Fincke (Greg), and Sayler Crouchley (John); two sisters, Helena Pless and Lisa Kaye, and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at St Mathews Episcopal Church in Bedford, NY on Friday Sept. 11, at 11:00 AM.
