Obituary of Kimberly Ann Benedetto-Lamendola

Kimberly Ann Benedetto-Lamendola (Kim) passed peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital on the 19th of August, at the age of 48. Kim was born in Stamford, CT on August 7, 1967 to Anthony and Sandra Benedetto, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Kim is survived by her husband of 12 years, John Lamendola, and her three loving children, Rodney Irizarry, Jr. (24), Jordan B. Irizarry (21) and Anthony Lamendola (10). Kim was predeceased by her brother, Scott Benedetto.
Kim was a 1985 graduate of J.M. Wright Technical High School. She was director of customer support at EDGAR Online in Norwalk for over 10 years.
Kim was a passionate fan of Bon Jovi, attending over a dozen concerts in her lifetime. She enjoyed her pets, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Kim took great pleasure in being a Girl Scout leader for her daughter's troop for 13 years.
Kim will be forever remembered by her endless generosity, huge heart and her unique sense of humor.
Calling hours will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT on Sunday August 23, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 24, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St Thomas More RC Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien CT. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Kim's name to the American Liver Foundation, www.liverfoundation.org, or Darien Post 53, www.post53.info.
